Not that you asked for it, but here you go & we are — a Who’s Who of the Team:

one half of aka DC

Accidental DJ, & tongue-fat Captain of this forever listing ship, one half of Drunk Country hosts the aforementioned weekly chaos - mostly, as his name attests, brain-mashed on alco-juice.

Mr. Nick Fisk

Mr. Fisk’s weird & wonderful forays into the world of the popstar meet & greet (or Celebrity Muggings as we like to call them) square peg the round hole of his unique take on life & how to live it. As a mutual friend once put it: it appears you’ve found your ‘Pilkington’. Indeed.

Mr. Toad

Owner & swear-mouthed drunk driver of the wonderful musi-come-social-rant vehicle Song, By Toad, (complete with podcasts & burgeoning record label) Mr. Toad (or, Matthew as his mother prefers) has become a popular addition to the TWR chaos. Not least for the amount of additonal tracks your intrepid co-hosts regularly steal off of his bandwidth.

The Woman of The House

Funny (as in Ha! Ha! & weird) tits aside, the vocal remonstration of Drunk Country House’s very own cooker, cleaner, clothes washer/ironer & charlady (affectionately patronised as The Woman of The House) brings that much needed female touch to the show. Albeit via the brain filter of someone who misappropriates nonsense & gibberish as common sense & logic.

the other half of aka John Mouse

Part accent, part singer, part songwriter, part musician, part nurse, part community theatre group coordinator, part owner of a newly made foetus he wants to name Cash (but Mrs Mouse has other ideas, thank Christ), & described as “the Welsh Beck” in his heyday, the other half of now spends most of his time trying to remember stuff before the last hangover.

Ms Hope Eternal

Founder of, & brains (albethey rubbished to buggery by the 1990’s Happy Hardcore rave scene, fuelled by a marathon of Class A’s & lightsticks) behind TWR, Ms Hope Eternal can now be located in the vicinity of Respectable; since leaving TWR, Ms Eternal has addressed the Scottish Parliament on the subject of Homelessness, campaigned for renewed AIDS awareness in Edinburgh, set the foundations for a new Radio Production Company, embraced Self-Sufficiency & Eco-Responsibility, & regularly bones a bloke who grows his own food on a small holding in Shropshire.
