Dear You, The Listening Few,
As of today The Waiting Room & its staff are quitting ErrorFM.
We will be looking for a new home to air the show, but in the interim we will continue putting shows together & publishing them, every Wednesday evening, as podcasts on our website, this one, www.TWRHQ.com.
Should you wish to know more about the what & the why, feel free to contact us (minus the parentheses) at dc (@) twrhq.com.

Hell’s teeth in the dentist chair, was this a sod of a show to pre-produce! Here’s why…
Last week, when playing at The Point in this here Cardiff, the delicious Ida Maria & the delightful V.V. Brown allowed one half of & Mr. Fisk into their company & minds for 20minutes or so each. Whereas one half of had the relative luxury, & fairly quiet locale, of V.V. Brown’s very plush tour van to gently float questions in her direction, Mr. Fisk decided the best place to interview Ida Maria was in the glass walled viewing gallery directly above the stage. Which was being sound checked for the evening’s gig.

Jesus Christ Almighty, what a diggigity dangtastic show have we what given you this week…
Last week, TWoTH, Fisk & ½DC went to a Cardiff-based Loose Presents… music showcase (read: gig if you’re over 35) to see & interview The Kabeedies, Pelle Carlberg, Tim & Sam’s the Tim & Sam Band with Tim & Sam, + Lucky Delucci.

What a wery wobbly show. Sound quality is always an issue on this listing ship, but this week we think we may have wobbled a little too far over the red line. But, in the words of Isambard Kingdom Brunel: ah, fuck it.
To the Batmobile!

This week, you lucky lucky lucky bastards, we have a wonderful interview with the delicious Anni Rossi all for you. The show was wrapped up in ½DC & Fisk’s usual nonsense, but with an added sprinkle of glitter in the shape of a competition to win a signed copy of Ms Rossi’s brand new EP AFTON - think of it as a fore-taster to her album of the very same name, & a copy of her 2007 self-release LP Scandia.

O Yes. Mr. Bob himself. Man-handled by Mr. Fisk himself.
Not much else we can say, really, about this week’s show. Except for Mr. Fisk ’s secret local band lead singer crush, his acceptance of a time traveling trip back to the mid-90s, & news of his forthcoming publishing venture. Quite a packed info-bomb for you, then, kids, eh?

God in Heaven.
Been a week, has it, yes? Absolutely. Not only has one half of been bed-bound with a recurring intestinal nasty (married, he is, to the porcelain telephone), but the other half of has somehow been allowed to become a father (only time will tell as to whether he’s allowed to keep it) AND Mr. Fisk has witnessed the end of the world via a couple of meat pies & a mad professor. You may be sat there, smiling, thinking oh, you scamps - what japes you have, but listen, bub, you want to try living with it for a week.

Oh, gosh.
Drunk Country House Studios, replete with new mic rig & mixing desk, suffered some this week.
Twisted to tearing point mind melts, trying to teach Mr. Fisk the nicities of the art of staying just this side of ‘just so’, had your convivial one half of springwound like a fidgit. Nothing was real. Mr. Fisk’s universe bending mouth antics were nothing short of astonishing.

& so, to politics.
This week Mr. Fisk, himself fanny-spat into the arms of a pre-Mugabe Zimbabwe, bumblingly musters the extreme brass orbs to wax lyrical on the relative ease of *ahem* life under the zero tolerance regime of the aforementioned murderous fucknut of a dictator (if the residents would only just ignore the politics & just get on with it - shades of Norman Tebbit, per chance?).
