Hola.
Well, we had fun this week. Mainly because one half of was enthralled by his brand new studio equipment (mics, mixing desk). The superficial tit.
Anyway, TWoTH refrained from using any of the more choice of profanities & one half of seems to have gotten over his recent stateside trip.
This week’s fussy featured such loveliness as Samantha Crain & The Midnight Shivers, Detektinbyrån, Spencer McGarry Season, Micah P. Hinson, Liz Durrett, Absentee, Magic Arm + the usual fancy cheese board of many more.
Tuck in, then, you.
½DC + TWoTH
ps next week sees the return of the other half of Drunk Country. He’s about to become a da’ & the show will be recorded for broadcast on the very night before Mrs Mouse is about to pop her tot. There’ll be a cell phone & a cab on standby…

will loveliness be posted for us to listen to (again)?
As if by magic… & the download is now fixed (for some reason there was a 2hr silent mp3 uploaded. No idea how that happened…).
Well, thanks much, DC. Some of your listening few happened to be singing for their suppers whilst you were broadcasting live, as it were.
Intrigued. But don’t reveal. I want to fantasise about what it is exactly in terms of the supper you is singing for…
Haha. Imagine away, DrunkCountry In the meantime, I will catch up on the history of The Waiting Room.
Hello DC and TWOTH:
Have been incommunicado while trying to pay the rent, but I have been listening to all of the shows, some might say obsessively, personally I think its quite normal to enjoy beautiful things. I find that one of my favorites (after Tom Waits Drunk Covers, and Twoth’s show of course) has been the InstruMental show of 20-08-08. Enjoyed the fast paced narrative regarding your trip and who could forget the Flea story. Mr DC you are truly a superb Radio Raconteur. As always thanks for the great show and hard work.

PS Must agree with Ed you have supplied some great “wee-wee in the pants” moments. I think that’s what makes this show so entertaining (besides the music of course), the rollicking nonsense and contagious happy laughter. Don’t change
