Oh, gosh.
Drunk Country House Studios, replete with new mic rig & mixing desk, suffered some this week.
Twisted to tearing point mind melts, trying to teach Mr. Fisk the nicities of the art of staying just this side of ‘just so’, had your convivial one half of springwound like a fidgit. Nothing was real. Mr. Fisk’s universe bending mouth antics were nothing short of astonishing.
Anyways. Amazingly, atwixt said mirth were buried a handful or 20+ of gems what contained such magicians of song as: Oh No! Oh My!, Heathers, MGMT, Port O’Brien, The Submarines, Bombadil, Colorblind James Experience, Kara Keith & a shit of a lot more.
Of course, Mr. Toad joins in again with a quartet of sonic wonderment, amidst his usual chatiness & (this week, at least) a restrained potty mouthedness, to complete a new ‘direction’ for the show. i.e. warts & all. We’ll see how it fares.
